Learn a new skill of Makaton; A communication programme with a multi-modal approach of speaking, signing and using symbols. Learn over 150 words/concepts and how to use them in your work or home settings.

Level 2 completed! Their recall on Level 1 signs was fantastic and they all had amazing sentences to share, showing what they can use straight away in their settings.

What a fantastic group from Lee Common C of E school today. They felt a bit rusty on their Level 1 signs at the start, but by the end of the day they could sign confidently with all their Level 1 and new Level 2 signs.
A nice way to end the term with a bit of symbol drawing and some competition games of noughts and crosses.

What a fantastic group of people on today's Level 1 course. We had Teachers,TAs, grandparents,users and family members who support their loved ones. I'm so proud watching you all develop your skills in Makaton and so excited to see you again for Level 2 on Tuesday!
