St Mary’s Year 5 Wombles.🗑️
A huge Thank You to Richard and Nina from Aylesbury Wombles who not only came into school today and spoke to the children about the fantastic work they do within our community, but also took our Children out alongside their teachers to litter pick in Fairford Leys! The Children had a great time and collected lots of different litter items throughout the village! It was so lovely to see people out in the community engaging with the children and they were all very excited to collect litter from local businesses like Salt & Vinegar! Finally, a big shout out to the cute Dusty the dog🐶🗑️

Dear Parents & Carers,
We have been made aware than a number of you are not getting notifications from the MCAS app, therefore are contacting everyone directly via e-mail.
The service provider has advised of the following:
1. Ensure you have updated the app to the latest version
2. Turn on the Push notifications for the app in your phone’s settings
3. Log into the app on a regular basis as failing to do so this can result in the app only working in the background of your devise making the push notifications dormant
The latest details on how to use the MCAS app updates have been published on the schools website.

A great opportunity for our budding Musicians this weekend in Aylesbury! 🎶

We're opening our doors this Sunday to welcome the community as part of Heritage Open Days! Come along and see what we do!

2:00-2:45 - Open Rehearsal – Bucks County Youth Orchestra are throwing open the doors of their first rehearsal this season. Drop in and hear Bucks’ finest young musicians!

2:45-3:45 - Come & Try session – a session for children and teens to come and try an instrument – lots of different instruments available to try with expert staff on hand to help you get started!

3:45-4:30 - Free concert given by Bucks Youth Jazz Collective and members of Aylesbury Music Centre!

Today is the last day to raise money for the sponsored Sports for Schools visit! Please make sure any donations are completed via the online fundraising page.

The money raised will help us purchase important sports resources in school, which will help to improve levels of physical activity and mental wellbeing across the whole school.

From Our Captain and Crew, we would like to thank our wonderful Year 4s for an Exciting flight aboard SMA Airways to Sicily this morning! 🇮🇹🧑‍✈️✈️ A special thanks to our lovely parent who works for British Airways for the uniform! And to all the parents for their compliments on our outfits! 😆
