We are delighted to extend our congratulations to Ben (Ridley 12), Nick (Paterson 12) and Silas (Denson 12) for being appointed as the Head Boys of School for 2022-2023.

The current team of Aayman, Ed and Matthew have done a fantastic job of leadership through challenging and changing times for the students. They go on study leave on 13 May 2022 and we thank them for their service and wish them well in their examinations.

We look forward to working with Ben, Nick and Silas in the coming year.

Part of our School policy is to respond when the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) declares a humanitarian crisis. In previous years, we have offered students the opportunity to donate when the DEC called for support for the Pakistan Earthquake, Boxing Day Tsunami & Haiti. We are humbled to share that we have raised over Β£2,500 for families fleeing conflict in Ukraine. A huge thank you to all who have donated -this amount is almost double the amount raised in previous mufti days! πŸ‘

Last week the took part in the English Chess Federation regional semi finals of the National Schools Chess championships. Although beaten in straight games, it was the first time students had played since 2020 and such a great experience to be competing again! Well done all who took part -Yuv (11Ha), Gabe (13Ha), Kamran (11Ha), Ismaeel (9Ri), Dominic (9Ph), Ksh*tij (11Ha) and to newcomers Advik (8Pa) and Pragvansh (11Pa). And a special mention to Mr Goodchild for making it happen!
