I have been so excited to share this with everybody!
I recently had my first Ofsted inspection and have just received the final report.
Ofsted Graded - Good setting
With only one area of improvement 🎉

-OFSTED registered with my report from my first inspection being released any day now.
-Fully qualified Cache level 3 in Childcare and education.
-10 years working with children this year, some of which was done alongside my studies
-Pediatric first aid trained
-DBS checked, along with my whole household as Ofsted requires
-Safeguarding trained
-Currently completing a level 2 course in Understanding Autism
-Fully insured

Impromptu tuff tray this morning.
I came across a conker tree and decided to grab some for exploration play with the children.
Who else is ready for the cosy nights?
I'm thinking of adding some numbers so we can number match quantities of conkers and pine cones.

Getting ready for September.
I've just checked and refilled both my first aid kits.
You may be wondering what these turned around cards are. Every child who attends my setting gets one of these cards, they contain the child's information needed in an emergency. Name, emergency contacts and allergies/conditions/medications/SEND.

I think we are all loving our summer theme this week.
The children had an ice cream bar as a treat after school, the children chose all their toppings to decorate.
The little ones enjoyed making some windmills to take home.
The bigger ones have started to make some summer bracelets.
Let's hope the weather gets on board with our summer feeling. ☀️

The children have been prepping their own snack.
I am so proud of them all for adapting to this new routine so quickly. They have all learnt how to safely manage this task and we are paving the way for future safety when using sharp utensils.
These children are 18 months +, incredible!

I live a 2 minute walk from the school, with plenty of parking for pick ups and collections.

We are continuing space week this week, the children are loving the crafts.
We are also looking at keeping ourselves safe ahead of safety week.
Me and Anna have been teaching the children;
- If a stranger approaches them to shout "I don't know you, leave me alone" this will attract more attention from passersby than shouting "no"

- We don't keep "secrets" only "surprises" because when it's a surprise someone is always told
