"My little boy joined Theatretrain in Chester nearly two years ago and hand on heart it has been the best thing we have done. My son struggled with self esteem and low confidence and the change we have seen in him since attending every Saturday has been short of incredible.
From walking in the door and seeing the wonderful warm smile from Barbara and all the fantastic Team who make sure all our children are welcomed with open arms, they are nurtured, encouraged and taught to shine, but most of all given the confidence they need to grow.
We have recently had the pleasure of going to see the Christmas Showcase in Wrexham and the pride I felt seeing my son up on stage brought several tears to my eyes, they were absolutely incredible and the way all the schools integrated on that stage was just wonderful to see.
A huge thank you to Steve for giving my son this amazing opportunity and more lately for offering the same chance to a child who needed it more after a very difficult situation, who has continued to shine and looks forward to their time at Theatretrain Chester.

There are so many things students get from their Theatretrain experience, beyond training in the performing arts. That includes learning empathy.
Empathy is important because it helps us understand how others are feeling so we can respond appropriately to the situation.
By learning about different characters and experience how they feel our students learn how to empathise with each other.

Flashback to 2015 at The Royal Albert Hall - this fast moving show “How to Make a Hero" explored the stories of the Ancient Greeks and unusually made the 500 strong choir, the Gods! The orchestra, led by Robert Hyman, embraced everything from Bolero to Iron Maiden, Bonnie Tyler to James Brown and Adele, The Script, Pharrell Williams and many more. The unusual staging created theatre magic 🪄
