Partou Beech Green Day Nursery and Pre-school, Aylesbury

Last week our staff and families came together and celebrated our Class of 2026 with our annual Preschool Leavers' Party. It was so lovely to take some time out of the usual busy day to simply enjoy the moment and celebrate everything this amazing group of children have achieved.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of the parents and families who came along. We really appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with us, and it made the afternoon even more special.

Of course, we also have to say a massive thank you to Magic Marius for another brilliant magic show! As always, you had everyone smiling, laughing and engaged from beginning to end.

Lastly, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to Ellie, Ani, Anisa, Sandra, Jeewanthi and Maidah. Thank you for turning up every single day and giving the children so much care, encouragement and support, with smiles on your faces. We couldn't be prouder of the confident, kind and capable little people they have become. You all show the children so much care and compassion every day, in everything you do. The garden set up gets better and better each year, thank you for all your efforts!

Many of the children leaving us this year have been with us since they were babies, so watching them grow over the years and seeing the relationships they've built with the team has been incredibly special. While we're so excited for them as they start school, it's always hard saying goodbye.

Good luck to our Class of 2026! We are so proud of every single one of you. You'll all be missed so much, but you'll always be part of the Beech Green family. Don't forget to come back and visit us! 💜❤🧡✨

This week, the preschool children welcomed a new member to the class!

We found a big caterpillar in the garden and after lots of observations and curiosity based questions, our deputy manager and preschool lead, Ellie, supported the children to gather different leaves to make a new, safe home for them! The children have named her Millie, and she now has a new home in the classroom where we hope to observe her as she (hopefully) changes over the next few weeks! The children have had so much fun with this experience ✨

Thank you to everyone that made an effort to dress as their favourite characters today - even our staff team! It has been so lovely to explore and further childrens interests in literacy and share thoughts and ideas on their favourite stories!

We've had another brilliant year of staff effort, they always think outside the box! Can't wait to see what next year holds! ✨

Thanks to everyone that attended our first parents evening of the year last night! Don't forget to help yourself to a coffee and a biscuit in reception this morning :)

Our preschoolers have had a great time taking part in valentines activities yesterday! Our practitioner, Ani, set up a love-filled play dough tray for the children to explore. Different creative opportunities have really sparked conversations about their thoughts and feelings towards each other and their loved ones! ❤💜🧡

We received some flowers at the nursery today! The children in 2-3’s loved using their fine motor skills and experimenting with scissors to cut them before adding them to a water tray to observe if any parts of them would sink or float! Happy valentines day! 💐✨
