Welcome to our Tunes4Toddlers page where we create magic for little ones up to the age of 5.
Maria launched the group shortly after having her own bundle of joy (after 9 weeks in fact) to offer interactive music groups between parent and child. As a professional singer and vocal coach Maria knows how important music is for young children as it can help with speech patterns, phrasing and tone, creating important, new neural pathways that will last a life time. There’s also a mathematical element too as the frequency of sound can help children learn to count and recognise number patterns which will aid them as they start school. Music is an emotional language which can release stress, produce endorphins and serotonin (happy fluid in our bodies) making us feel uplifted and energised. It’s a great way to bond with your child through musical giggles and rhyme.

Copying - Your children will develop a sense of rhythm through copying movements, bouncing, dance, clapping, sounds, songs, waving, new skills and the use of percussion (It also enhances their speech development, mathematical understanding).
Interaction - They will learn to maintain eye contact, the power of touch, tickle time, exploring Instruments, textures & stimulating all their senses.
Music and Song- A mixture of traditional nursery rhymes, counting & alphabet songs, classical music and world music to name but a few! Observe your little ones confidence growing as they learn new ‘musical life skills’ and discover their favourites.
Social Skills - Your child will learn basic skills by observing and interacting with others to share instruments/toys and participate in various activities together. It will also enhance their spatial awareness. It’s a wonderful opportunity for parents Carers and Grandparents to bond with your baby, as well as to make new friends and simply have fun together!
The skills your child will learn are not only invaluable for enjoying music but for all aspects of their learning, creativity and ongoing development - creating new neural pathways that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
Due to its success, and lots of pleas from her lovely group of Mummies and Daddies, Maria set up A BIG VOICE - Children’s Party Entertainment in 2010. This side of the business has expanded to now offer Face Painters, Character-Mascot Performers, Skilled Entertainers, Music & PA System, Party Games, Disco Lights, Bubbles, Inflatables, Cake Makers and Designers and Professional Photographers, with a small but professional and dedicated team on board.
Maria has since set up various weekly singing & music groups across Buckinghamshire to accommodate babies, children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Following the popularity of the workshops and weekly groups, 2011 was the year Maria was approached by various establishments to run Corporate Team Building Works (Arla Foods Dairies International, Asda Supermarket, Alectia/Niras Engineering, Bucks County Council, Carers Bucks, Barnardos, NHS Health Trust) and Master Classes for established Theatre groups (Chesham Theatre, Tring Park Performing Arts School, Tring Court Pendley Manor Theatre, N.M.C, Stage Coach, The Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Oxfordshire), respected Educational Establishments (Cherwell Valley College Oxford, Bucks Play Association, Barnardos, Bright Start Nurseries, Pollyanna Pre-school, Leverstock Green School Hemel Hempsted) and Community Projects (Freemantle Carehomes, Hawkslade Community Centre - Sing with A Big Voice workshops, Elmhurst Community Centre - Sing for Pleasure Workshops, Queens Park Art Centre - Sing for Pleasure Workshops, Girl Guides - Sing for pleasure workshops, Church-Keneliworth - Sing for pleasure workshop).
