Today marks the end of an incredible journey for one amazing young client. 💛

When we first started working together, fear often held them back. New challenges felt overwhelming, confidence was low, and believing in themselves didn't come easily.

Over the past few weeks, I've had the privilege of watching them transform.

✨ They developed a stronger, more positive mindset.
✨ They learned how to face challenges with courage.
✨ They built resilience when things didn't go to plan.
✨ They stepped outside their comfort zone and overcame fears they once thought were impossible.

The biggest achievement wasn't just what they accomplished—it was who they became along the way. They now have the tools, confidence, and self-belief to keep moving forward long after our sessions have finished.

Seeing children realise they are capable of more than they ever imagined is exactly why I do what I do.

Every child deserves the chance to believe in themselves. 💫

A Father’s Day Tribute 💙

Father’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible men who help shape our children's lives with love, strength, and support.

When cancer turned our world upside down, my girls were surrounded by an amazing circle of men who helped them navigate one of the most difficult times of their young lives.

Their dad was our family's rock, providing comfort, stability, and reassurance through every challenge. He showed them what courage, resilience, and unconditional love look like in action.

Their beloved Grandad, known simply as Dada, was always there with open arms, wise words, and plenty of love. His presence brought comfort and security when it was needed most.

And then there are my brothers — their much-loved Mamas. They stepped in with hugs, laughter, encouragement, and endless support, helping my girls find joy even during the darkest days. The bond they share is something truly special, and I am so grateful for the role they continue to play in their lives.

Watching these incredible men rally around my daughters reminded me that it truly takes a village. Father figures come in many forms, and their love, guidance, and support can make all the difference during life's toughest moments.

To my husband, my dad, and my brothers, thank you for being the strong, caring, and dependable men my girls can always count on. Your love helped carry us through a storm, and your influence continues to shape the confident, compassionate young girls they are becoming.

Today, we celebrate all the dads, grandads, uncles, and father figures who show up, stand strong, and love fiercely. Your impact is greater than you will ever know. 💙

Today is Cancer Survivor Day 💜

Being a cancer survivor isn't just about reaching the end of treatment. It's about every appointment attended, every difficult conversation faced, every tear shed, every moment of fear overcome, and every step taken forward when giving up would have been easier.

Cancer changed my life in ways I never imagined. It tested my strength, challenged my resilience, and taught me to appreciate the little things that often go unnoticed.

Today, I celebrate survival. I celebrate the medical teams, family, friends, and organisations who stood beside me. I remember those who are no longer with us, and I stand with those who are still fighting their own battles.

Surviving cancer has given me a deeper purpose – using my experiences to support others through coaching, sharing my story, authoring When Mummy Had Cancer, and working with cancer charities to raise awareness and hope.

To every survivor: your scars tell a story of courage. To everyone currently in treatment: keep going. You are stronger than you know.

💜 Happy Cancer Survivor Day.

First time, 5K, and a memory we’ll never forget 💗

Last night Keya and I completed the Race for Life 5K in just over 50 minutes — and every single step meant something so much bigger than the finish line.

Running side by side, I wasn’t just thinking about the distance… I was thinking about the journey. About strength, resilience, and everything cancer tries to take — but doesn’t.

Raising money for Cancer Research is deeply personal. It’s about hope. It’s about funding life-saving treatments. It’s about giving more families time, more memories, and more moments like this one.

To do this with my daughter by my side made it even more powerful. She didn’t just run a race today — she showed courage, compassion, and heart.

So proud of us. So grateful. And so hopeful for a future where cancer no longer has the power it does today.

💖 If you’ve supported, donated, or even cheered us on — thank you. You’re part of this journey too.

There came a day I never imagined — the day I had to sit my beautiful girls down and tell them about my cancer diagnosis.

I still remember Keya’s words so clearly, “Mummy, I don’t want you to lose your hair.”
A promise I so desperately wanted to make… but couldn’t.

When the day came to shave my hair, we cried together. Not just for the hair, but for everything it represented. Fear, uncertainty, and the unknown.

But through it all, I have watched both my daughters show a strength I didn’t even know was possible. They faced their fears head on, and chose courage. Chose compassion. Chose to make a difference.

Today, I am beyond proud of them. For turning something so painful into something so powerful — helping other young people going through their own cancer journeys, giving them the chance to feel like themselves again with a wig.

My girls, you are my strength, my why, and my greatest inspiration 🤍

Social media can quietly shape how our children see themselves… and not always in a healthy way.

From filtered photos to highlight reels, young minds begin to compare, question their worth, and seek validation through likes and comments. Confidence, which should be built from within, slowly becomes dependent on the outside world.

As parents, educators, and caregivers, we have a powerful role to play. By creating safe spaces, encouraging open conversations, and reminding children that their value is not measured online, we can help them build resilience, self-belief, and a strong sense of identity.

Let’s raise children who know their worth beyond the screen. 💛

Confidence changes everything for a child. ✨

When children believe in themselves, they speak up, try new things, handle challenges better, and grow into stronger, happier young people.

Sometimes they just need the right support, tools, and someone in their corner to help them shine. 💛

If your child is struggling with confidence, anxiety, friendships, or big emotions, I’m here to help.

Children are always watching. Not just what we say… but how we show up.

When they see us try again after failure, speak kindly about ourselves, set boundaries, and face challenges with courage, they learn confidence is not something you’re born with — it’s something you build.

A confident child is often raised by adults who model resilience, self-belief, and calm in difficult moments.

You don’t need to be perfect to be their role model.
You just need to be real, consistent, and willing to grow.

Every time you choose courage over fear, your child is learning to do the same.

Be the example they carry into the world. 🌟

There’s nothing more powerful than hearing directly from schools about the impact of these conversations 💬

After delivering a session on talking to children about cancer, emotional wellbeing, and building resilience, this feedback meant everything:
✨ “The children felt safe to open up, ask questions, and express emotions they didn’t even realise they were holding in.”

These are the moments that matter.
When children feel seen, heard, and supported — that’s where confidence and resilience begin to grow 🌱

Supporting children through difficult topics like illness isn’t about having all the answers… it’s about creating a safe space where they feel understood.

If you’re a school looking to better support your pupils’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, and confidence — I’d love to work with you.
