Sometimes the biggest learning happens in the smallest moments: squeezing a pipette, watching colours mingle, choosing the next block, or settling beside a friend with a favourite book.

In this little glimpse of life at ME Montessori, a story sparks colourful exploration, small hands get busy, and there is time for friendship, shared stories and discovering what “I can do it” feels like.

ME Montessori Nursery & Preschool are recruiting for a Toddler Room Leader and SENDCO for an immediate start. Based in Bedgrove Community Centre, Aylesbury, we are a small home from home, nurturing & calm environment. We take babies from 5months old, up to preschool-aged children.

📕 you hold a level 3 or above, or a Montessori qualification
🥘 you would like free home cooked meals daily
🏡 you would like to work in a small, friendly, home from home environment

Before a single child walks in, the room is already ready for them.

Every tray is set at their height. Every basket holds one job, complete and waiting. The
cosy corner has its books facing out so a two-year-old can choose for themselves. This is
what Montessori people mean by the prepared environment — the room does the teaching, so
the adult can do the noticing.

Then the children arrive, and it all makes sense. A boy stacks the tower to his own
shoulder height, checking each cube before he trusts it. Nobody hands it to him. Nobody
hurries him. That is where confidence actually comes from — small hands, given something
real to do.

We have places available for children from 5 months to 5 years. Come and stand in the room
before the children arrive, and you'll understand it in about ninety seconds.

Today was Maria Montessori's birthday, and so, we spare a thought and immense gratitude to the lady who did so much to create a peaceful world and progress in humanity, both during and outside of her life.

We are committed to continuing her legacy guiding children to their true and full potential and training anyone who has an interest or feels touched in any way by her teachings and wisdom.
