Crendon Farriers Ltd

Crendon Farriers Ltd Crendon Farriers offer a prompt, professional and reliable service in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire a

Crendon Farriers Ltd was established in 2007 by Daniel Harman. Daniel started his Farriery career in Buckinghamshire in 1991 when he began a 4 year 2 month apprenticeship with Farrier Carl Bettison A.W.C.F. Upon obtaining the Dip W.C.F (Diploma of the Worshipful Company of Farriers) examination in 1995 and gaining his place on the Register of Farriers he set up his own business. Daniel has been running a very successful and professional Farriery service ever since. In 2004, due to demand of work he became an Approved Training Farrier (ATF). He has successfully trained seven apprentices that have already qualified and is currently training three more. In April 2013 Daniel then became an A.W.C.F (Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers) after successfully completing a series of higher examinations concentrating on therapeutic and remedial farriery. In doing this it has enabled him to attain the title of ‘Master Farrier’. In December 2017 Daniel was granted the freedom of the City of London and also became a ‘Liveryman’ of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. After two and a half years of studying, in May 2021 Daniel passed a Graduate Diploma in Equine Locomotor Research at the Royal Veterinary College.

A huge thank you to the wonderful for visiting us on a very busy Tuesday morning to capture our team in action!

Christine spent time capturing our farriers, , hard at work, as well as spending time in the clinic with our fantastic on-site vet, Nicky.

With over 130 horses, there is never a dull moment here! Most of our residents require specialised ongoing care, whether that’s farriery, veterinary attention, or tailored training, and our team is always on hand to give them the very best.

We are incredibly proud of the level of care we provide for our equines every single day, and we’re so grateful to Christine for beautifully capturing these everyday working moments. HTx 💚

You spoke, we listened.

At Focus 2026, we’re delighted to introduce wireless headphones in the David Gulley Lecture Theatre, giving you a clearer and more immersive listening experience.
We’ve also improved the draping and speaker systems to enhance sound quality, reduce unwanted noise, and ensure you can hear every word with greater clarity.

🎧 New for Focus 2026: better sound in the David Gulley Lecture Theatre
To improve the sound we've added headphones so you catch every word. We've also doubled the draping and tasked our sound techs with maximising the acoustics too.

Can't make every lecture live? BFBA members get the recordings, so you don't miss out 👌
