Week 9- welcome to acrylics and mixed media.
Fantastic boats docked in the bay using newspaper, gesso primer and acrylics.
What a truly amazing experience and the outcome speaks for itself.
Introducing acrylics and a beach scene for our beginners- excellent work and great learning.
Such a pleasure seeing all the students just going for it and enjoying the process and having a great time.

Week 8- Lush patio pots in vibrant watercolours- adding instant colour and seasonal textures- great work by returners. Beginners used their new watercolour skills and techniques to depict fascinating feathery friends - excellent work- well done.

Week 7: Urban sketches of beautiful Lisbon and trams in watercolours. Stunning work from our returners- have a peek at their sketches first and then the end result. Truly inspiring!

Beginners focused so wonderfully on colour theory, played with colours and started to understand the nature of warm and cool colours. Well done to you all 👏

Week 6 at SACA, rows of sun-drenched vines weave through the rolling hills, acting as nature's green tapestry. …..in watercolour pencils.
Plus, monochrome mountains by our beginners.
Superb learning shown by everyone.
Well done 👏

Week 5: Camels in Cairo using oil pastels.
We talk a lot about the importance of the process in creating art.
So this week, have a look at not just the end result but at the layering and blending techniques taken place before the end.

Week 4: shaped by the wind into artistic flowing forms- beach dunes. The highly favoured medium in our class, our returners dived right into discovering how the tonal work for sand works and the outcome is mesmerising.
Our beginners were in love this week- oil pastel medium which they have never used before- what scrumptious crunchy apples they depicted.

Summer term Week 2 & 3: fantastic work over the past few weeks. Perspective and human body proportions and embedding that into London buses and synchronised swimmers.

When faced with challenges, my students give it their best shot! So proud of the outcome and well done to everyone 👏👏
