🎨✏️ It has been a wonderfully creative week in Year 1! The children have enjoyed writing their own versions of George's Marvellous Medicine, using their imaginations to invent some truly funny and magical creations. 📚✨

Alongside their writing, the children have created their own interpretation of artist 'Jasper Johns' artwork called 0 through 9. Jasper Johns used an 'Impasto' style, where an artist uses a thick layer of paint so brush marks can be seen. 🌈🔢

We are so proud of their enthusiasm, creativity and hard work. Well done, Year 1! ⭐👏

🍂 F2 have been exploring the wonderful story Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert! 🍂

As part of their learning, the children investigated the beautiful colours of autumn leaves and discussed how leaves change during the season. Inspired by the story, they used their creativity to design and make their very own Leaf Men using a variety of colourful leaves.

The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring nature, sharing their ideas, and bringing the story to life through their artwork. What fantastic little artists and explorers they are! 🍁🌿✨

We’re proud to be supporting Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse once again and would love your help making a difference in our local community. 💛

From 5th to 9th October, we’ll be collecting donations of food and household essentials for families in need. Simply send any donations into school with your child and ask them to hand them to their teacher or teaching assistant.

✅ Where possible, please choose nut and sesame-free items

🧚‍♀️✨ F1 had a magical time celebrating International Fairy Tea Party Day today! The children created delicious fairy wands using breadsticks, icing and sprinkles before enjoying a fun-filled fairy party with songs, dancing and lots of imagination.

It was a truly enchanting day, full of smiles, creativity and fairy magic! 🪄🌟💖

🌳💛 As part of today's POW Day, our F2 children have been exploring their family trees and talking about the special people who live in their homes. Linking to our People Curriculum, the children enjoyed sharing their family stories and learning that every family is unique. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Our Year 1 human beans are having a simply scrumdiddlyumptious Roald Dahl POW Day!

The classrooms are bursting with gobblefunking characters, gloriumptious costumes and wondercrump props. We are completely bogswizzled by the imaginations of our brilliant little human beans!

A huge thank you to all our families for helping create such a phizz-whizzing day. Every outfit was trogglehumperly terrific and worthy of a place in the BFG's dream jars!

Year 2 have been making the most of the beautiful weather whilst combining their learning with some outdoor creativity. The spent time outside taking part in a draw along activity inspired by the famous nurse, Florence Nightingale.
