We're pleased to announce that our fundraiser for Brainkind has rasied a total of £690! That's 38% over their intended target!✨👏

Our Apprenticeship Team and Apprentices have been working hard to create a place for residents to relax and unwind. They have created a beautiful water feature, encouraged wildlife, developed sensory spaces and given the Kent House garden the spruce up that it deserved! -

We are proud to share that at the £345 mark, our Finance department decided to match all donations, which brought the total to £690! 💸

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves , enjoys making content and helping others. A Digital Learning Apprentice gets to develop their skills whilst they 'earn and learn" working in our colleges. Successful applicants will complete a Level 3 whilst getting stuck in with the latest technology such as VR and XR.

Health Education England and Thames Valley Dental Directorate highlighted a lack of dental provision in Buckinghamshire. In response to this Buckinghamshire College Group is introducing dental training on to its curriculum starting with the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship from September 2024.

To celebrate Brainkind's 30th anniversary, Buckinghamshire College Group's Apprenticeship Team are creating a sensory garden for the residents at Kent House.

Brainkind has grown to become the UK’s largest not-for-profit brain injury charity in the UK. Located in Aylesbury, Kent House is a specialist long-term brain injury residential home where Brainkind provide innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to enable people to thrive after a brain injury.

We hope to make a place for residents to relax and unwind, and will be enlisting the help of our fabulous apprentices to create a beautiful water feature, encourage wildlife, and provide opportunities for people to enjoy a wide variety of sensory experiences.

As well as recognising the amazing work of our students, the event is the perfect opportunity for us to recognise all the wonderful employers we work with to give our students the best chance of success.

We're proud to announce that our 'Apprentice Employer of the Year' went to L&C Carpentry Ltd for their high quality training and approach that ensures that apprentices receive the guidance they need to succeed.

Our remaining employer award titled 'Business Impact Award' sponsored by Buckinghamshire Business First went to James and his team at 76 Services.
