We are an outstanding grammar school near the centre of Aylesbury, serving children of all genders a Ofsted 2016 Report - An Outstanding Academy.
Our mixed environment gives students an environment in which children of all genders challenge each other’s academic perspectives, share leadership roles and help to shape their emotional intelligence. The impressive attitude of our students makes this a special place. A senior inspector recently said that she had “seldom seen a school where students are so universally positive and enthusiastic about their learning”.

When a legend comes to !
It was an amazing honour to have professional dancer, Adam Cooper, in our dance department all day! He taught our A-Level students some repertoire from Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake and then created a piece from scratch in collaboration with the dancers. Adam works as both a performer and choreographer in musical theatre, and has choreographed and/or starred in award-winning shows, including being the lead Swan in Swan Lake and the lead role in Singin in the rain.
Friday games are always great fun!
Our dance live team leaders went to the Wycombe Swan Theatre on Tuesday to have a full day of training on all things technical and how to work collaboratively with the dancers. We cannot wait for our performance in March!
Tech rehearsals for the Christmas production of 39 Steps👣 are going great. We have such talented students!

The deadline to place your order is Sunday 25th November.
This week our year 7 science pupils have been looking at the rate of diffusion by using hot water and tea bags and measuring at which temperature diffusion occurs fastest.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Many thanks to Emma at our local NCT group for gathering parents with their babies to support our year 11 provision. Discussions about fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood were of huge benefit to our students. Plus, a few smiles from some tiny humans is always a great way to start the day!
