Encourage your children to learn names of simple shapes and feel like artists with these 2 in one activity sets.
Part 1 of the activity.
PART 1 of the activity consists of names of familiar shapes on glossy card paper. These are like normal flash cards but the shapes are attached to the cards with velcro which can be removed and attached back easily. Parents can first teach the child shapes and then do the activity of pasting the correct shapes on the card.
PART 2 of the activity:
Children will be able to make a picture out of everyday shapes. The children can choose between ice cream, a train, or a rocket. Each card has one or more of the following shapes: circle, triangle, square, star, and rectangle.
These activities would not only make children learn the names of shapes but also emphasize the importance of shapes in things they use every day.
BONUS: The shape they make can be turned into frames making your child feel like a mini artist.
