Hi, has anyone’s child taken home a red GAP padded gilet? Santi has it in his backpack all week but today I realised it was missing. It has his name in it and it’s about a size 6-7yrs. Thanks, Anna
I just wanted to say what a great time I had this afternoon with all the Children at Pre-school.
Some amazing listening from all the children and lots of tries scored by everyone.
With What's the time Mr Wolf, Racing Cars, Coach Rob Says and our relay the children kept going all through the session and were a joy to come and visit.
I hope to see them again soon.

Our 3 year old twins ADORE Attending this preschool 4 days a week, they are always excited to go, love all of the structured activities and love the staff. The feedback to parents and support they give to each child is wonderful
Good morning everyone, hope you are well and well done for organising such a fab event on Friday - was lots of fun.
I just wanted to post to ask for much needed help and support for the Pre school committee and fundraising. Sorry in advance for the long email but please read.
You may or may not be aware that Pre school is a charity run organisation and in its current form needs a committee to be able to carry on operating. Without the committee the Pre school would have to close.
We have the AGM coming up on Wednesday where we will be electing committee members and finding out about plans for the Pre school for the coming year as well as finding out about what has happened over the last year. All amazing stuff that Claire and the team spend much time on for the children.
I have been on the committee for the last 3 years as treasurer but after careful consideration think it is time to look for a new parent to take over the role - I don’t have a child at Pre school at the moment and although I care very much about Pre school - the staff and the children I think that a current parent would be much better placed to be in the role.
The position is not onerous at all as Rebecca does all of the finance side of things, it requires probably 3 meetings a year and the occasional cheque to be signed and odd bank visit. But the important role of being on the committee is to be a support network to the staff about the decisions that they make for your children day to day at Pre school and I think it’s important for this role to be filled by someone who currently has a child there.
If anyone thinks they are able to get involved please do let us know and if anyone is able to be more involved with fundraising on going without necessarily being ok the committee then that would be amazing too, as the Pre school is the amazing outstanding rated place it is because of the brilliant people that work there with your children everyday as well as the brilliant parents that care so much about giving their children a fantastic place to explore and learn in 🙂
So please come on Wednesday and support Pre school and find out all about the plans ahead for your kids and please let us know if you are willing to be nominated onto committee:)

Due to an expansion of operational hours, we are looking for extra staff members to join our team.
Early Years Practitioner Brill, Buckinghamshire £10.42 - £11.50 per hour salary dependent of qualifications Term time only plus 5.6 weeks paid holiday. Full and part time options available. Qualification in early years desirable but not essential. Subsidised Pre-School place, uniform provided and any training/meetings outside of working hours paid for.
There will be Opportunities for additional training and professional development. We implement in the moment planning and we are currently undertaking the curiosity approach accreditation. We value outdoor learning and run Forest School sessions.
We also have an opportunity for an Early Year apprentice to join our team.

We are currently seeking a committed individual to cover lunchtime hours at our Outstanding Pre-School. The Pre-School is located in the beautiful village of Brill in Buckinghamshire and children attend from the ages of 2 years – 4 years old. No experience or qualifications needed, we can provide support and any training required.
We are looking for an individual who
• Can work as part of a team
• Is able to work from their own initiative
• Is reliable and friendly
The hours of work will be Monday – Friday 11.45am – 1.15pm, salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. The post will commence in September 2023 and is term time only.

day 5 of communication week. We spent the morning at Forest School, listening to stories and toasting marshmallows. We also found the characters from the Gruffalo.

day 4 of communication week. We started the morning with a family breakfast and stories. We displayed story props alongside popular books.
We also participated in bucket time this afternoon and used props to sing along to 10 green bottles.

day 3. We have been busy playing Grandma's footsteps using instruments, listening to stories from parents, watching the live story 'I really need a wee' and making up our own helicopter stories.

day two of communication week, more parents coming in to share stories with the children, we also invited parents in to watch the children perform their own helicopter stories.
The children also played a game of guess the item by using words to describe it to the class.

Windmill Pre-School
Windmill Pre School is situated in Brill adjacent to Brill School and in a purpose built building. We cater for children from the age of 2 to 4 years of age and have two separate classrooms and large gardens.
We had an Ofsted inspection in July 2018 and received Outstanding in all areas, "The management and staff team are extremely passionate and dedicated in providing the very best quality practice. They have an uncompromising and highly successful drive to ensure that all children are making outstanding progress in all areas of learning." The Manager is a qualified Early Years Teacher and both room leaders hold a degree in Early Years.
We offer weekly Forest School sessions and have two qualified Forest School Leaders, we also offer woodwork, cooking and baking, singing, dancing and yoga.
We except Tax Free Childcare, child care vouchers, 2 year old funding, universal 15 hour funding ( 3-4 year olds) and additional 15 hour funding for 3-4 year olds.
