Jennie's Childminding

We've had a fun packed few weeks, we started Yogo, we've been chopping up our own fruit for snack, done some fun crafts, and we have been welcoming some new children :)

This week we have been focusing on what is around us, so we have been out for lots of walks.
We took out some magnifying glasses with us to see what we could find 🔍
Being outside helps children develop their senses, their hearing and their sight as well as develop their social skills and imagination.
We met lots of lovely people walking their dogs and we also met a lovely lady riding her horse!

Last week me made snowy trees, I was a little hopeful we may have got snow!
This week we made clouds and rain, the children had a choice to use their hands or rain drops.

Good morning
It has been a long time since I have posted!
So thought I'd pop back on,
We have been enjoying lots of walks, learning road safety and talking about the world around us 🌍

We've had some lovely day trips out with Teddy Bears Childminding, we went to Hogshaw farm last week, and it was lovely to see the children's confidence grow and now able to feed the animals happily :)
Today we took a trip to crocodile World 🐊 the children had so much fun spotting the crocodiles

We've had a fun couple weeks, we have done some nice walks with Teddy Bears Childminding a trips to the park, where we spotted the bin men! We have done some baking and now we are starting out Christmas crafts 🎄

Yesterday we took a bus trip to the library with Teddy Bears Childminding
This trip was based around one of the mindees favourite things, books 🥰
The children chose their own books to sit and read and then had a few stories read to them!
A trip to the library will become a regular visit for the mindees :)

Today we had fun making pumpkins using our feet 🎃 Lots of giggles while their feet were being painted😆

Today we decorated candles for Diwali!
We talked a little about Diwali and what it means.

We also did lots of free play today, being half-term we tend to go a bit out of routine, but this gives the children plenty of choice to pick what they want play to with, it also brings a great opportunity to practice our tidying away before we get something new out 😁
