Over half term our caterpillars turned in to butterflies and were released in to the wild! We watched videos of them today and made butterfly paintings to celebrate 🦋

Another fun day at the farm today! 🐐

National Numeracy Day!
The children have enjoyed lots of number songs, books, games and activities to celebrate National Numeracy day!

The children loved making these wiggly caterpillar pictures today by sticking circles next to each other! 🐛

Looks like we are entering the chrysalis phase! Exciting! 🐛

We’re looking after some caterpillars! They’ve grown so much in one week already! Can’t wait to watch them turn in to butterflies! The children are all very excited about our new friends 🐛🦋

The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛
This morning we enjoyed an interactive story sack, learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly and feeding the caterpillar all the food from the story! 🦋

Continuing our train theme, the children enjoyed making these colourful train pictures! 🚂

This week we had a trip to Bucks Railway Centre where we played with toy trains, sat on a big train and watched a short film about trains! A lovely day out 🚂

May Day flower fun! 🌹🌺🌷🌼🪻
The children enjoyed making flowers in the tuff tray with Pom Poms and cupcake cakes. The also enjoyed a flower puzzle and making some flower wreaths.
