We had a lovely time yesterday evening at our Movie night where we watched the film, Listen starring Maisie Sly, well worth a watch!

We also collected a lovely donation on the night for Aylesbury Foodbank that I dropped off on the way home. Did you know that even when they are closed they still happily accept donations in their cupboard outside the warehouse where they sort out the food donations, which is just down from Lynx Gym and before you get to the rubbish tip in Aylesbury ☺️

We are always on the lookout for different recommendations for various things and fidgets is something we love for our events but also in our classes. We recently had a recommendation for this new fidget which is a hand held almost computer keyboard system that can be clicked if and when needed to help calm that fidget. What better time to share something like this than .

If you have any other fidgets you’d recommend please let us know ☺️🤩

As well as being Sign Language week this week is also and a great chance to learn more about neurodiversity and everything that goes into it.

We come across a lot of neurodiverse children and adults when we do our Quiet Zones for Aylesbury Town Council events and we love to meet you all.

Did you know that neurodiversity covers a lot more than just Autism and ADHD can you think of anything else that makes a person neurodiverse check out the pictures below to see more…..

This is a really interesting graphic to share, thanks ASLI for putting this together I know some followers that would be really interested in this.
I feel this really brings out the theme of Sign Language week with it being “more than a language: culture, community and belonging”

To celebrate Sign Language Week, ASLI has been looking back at how the language was created and developed!
