Only 2 more days of rehearsals and then it’s Show Day. I’m so excited and beyond proud that my biggest boy will be performing as an Oompa Loompa at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, I’m not sure where he gets his confidence from 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s his first time of performing in a big show and already he’s asking if he can audition for whichever show they are doing next year 🙈
My boy, my pride and joy, helping to raise money for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. They looked after my Auntie so well and my Auntie would be so proud of Max helping to give something back 💖💙

We had 2 new children start recently and it’s so lovely to see the friendships building between them all.

We’re very excited to start making use of our new Zoo pass over the next few weeks

I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights and here they are over the top of my house right now. Look at those colours 😍

Last week was a very busy week, we looked at the life cycle of a caterpillar and watched our caterpillars moult for the last time as they hung from the roof of the pot. We’ve had a new little one join us who is doing an amazing job settling in 😊 And we didn’t let a bit of rain stop us from dancing in the bubbles, we just moved into the carport instead 😁
Last night we moved the caterpillars into the butterfly garden ready for when they hatch, one of the cocoons was in the bottom of the pot (the caterpillar moulted there instead of on the lid) so I’m a little unsure if a butterfly will emerge but when I scooped it out it began wriggling so I’m hopeful that it’s still ok in there. Not long to go until we see our butterflies 🦋

Our caterpillars arrived at the end of last week and today we have been looking at them through a magnifying glass. They have got big so quickly and are getting really hairy now 🐛🦋

We went to our local Stay and Play soft play this week and had so much fun in their new role play area upstairs.

Last week was all about the colour yellow and World Book Day. We went to choose a book from the book shop with our World Book Day voucher and had lots of fun dressing up for World Book Day

Last week we looked at the colours red and green for St David’s Day and we made a dragon picture by drawing round our hands to make the wings 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This week we have looked at the colours red and white, had fun being superheroes at Cha Char Chimps and we have a 3rd birthday 🎂 🥳

A busy couple of days, spending time at the farm, taking part in a Cha Char Chimps class, making Valentines cards and pancakes 🥞💌💖

This week will be all about Love and Valentines Day 💖🌹💞💌

Last week we looked at Chinese New Year, we talked about all the different animals and talked about celebrations, listened to Chinese music and completed a Chinese New Year picture 🇨🇳🧧🥢🐲

I have a full time space available from mid to end of November. Monday - Thursday only.

That’s the Summer Holidays over, we’ve had a busy time, a trip on a bus to town, lots of trips to the farms, singing and dancing at Cha Char Chimps, park trips for some fresh air and we’ve been practicing our sharing skills especially with the train track and trains.

At the weekend my son asked me if we could do a dinosaur themed week for the little ones so we put some ideas together and the littles ones have loved it.
We have stomped round the room like dinosaurs, sung dinosaur songs, made pictures using dinosaur stickers and the little ones had so much fun in our dinosaur tuff tray which had green coloured rice for the grass and crushed up rice crispies for the sand 🦖🦕

Ready for my week off next week and looking forward to having some family time for the last week of the summer holidays ☀️🏖

Lots of playing outside in the garden last week ☀️ the water play is always such a big hit 💦😊And the week ended with a settling in session with my new little one who will be joining us in a couple of weeks.
