Rachel's Childminding

Yesterday we talked about the partial solar eclipse and what would happen during it, we talked about how the moon will move between the sun and the earth, we then made pin hole cameras so we could watch it safely and coloured a picture of an eclipse 🌍🌚☀️🌘

Yesterday we started our Summer Holidays with a trip to Whipsnade Zoo, we were lucky enough to see the cheetah cubs with their mum 🐆
We saw the male elephant cooling off under a hose pipe as we went past on Hector the diesel train 🐘
And we were excited to see Superior the red steam engine sat in the train yard after her overhaul, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen her and we can’t wait to go for a ride on her coaches ☀️🚂
