Lovely set of colours going out this morning and an even more lovely review sent to us this morning by Stephanie ❤️🙏🏻

As promised the other week, a little review:

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

About 18 months ago I was getting shooting pains in my left thumb when playing. It was always much worse, and happened more regularly, when rehearsals and playing time increased.

I’d seen the CalderPips grips online and thought they were worth a try.

Fast forward 18 months and I’ve just done 11 rehearsals in 12 days for two different bands, plus a contest, and had no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Before using the grip, there’s no way I could have got through that amount of playing without taking painkillers.

Really pleased with the grip and it has made a huge difference.

❤️

Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you may have! 👌

🎺 FRENCH HORN PLAYERS — THIS IS WHY WE MADE THE HUSH TONE. 🎺

We can tell you all day how free-blowing, stable and natural our CalderPips French Horn Hush Tone feels… but feedback like this says it rather better. ❤️

This message came completely out of the blue from a player with 60 years of horn playing experience, an RNCM graduate and former Army Staff Band musician:

“That mute is amazing… super pedal C to E above top C with focus, no pitch wavering, perfect resistance… I’ve owned a lot of practice mutes — this one beats them by a huge margin.”

That is exactly what we set out to achieve.

✅ Quiet enough for serious practice at home, backstage or in a hotel
✅ Stable pitch across the register
✅ Natural resistance without strangling the instrument
✅ Designed to let you practise properly without compromising your sound
✅ Fits neatly in the bell for easy storage
🌈 And, of course, available in your choice of CalderPips colours!

⭐️ REAL PRODUCTS. REAL CUSTOMERS. REAL REVIEWS. ⭐️

At CalderPips Music, we don’t give our products away in return for reviews, endorsements or discount codes.

We don’t send free mutes, grips or halos out in exchange for someone telling you how wonderful they are.

Every review you see, every recommendation you read and every customer photo or video we share comes from people who actually bought our products — and loved them enough to tell other people about them. ❤️

That matters to us.

We’d rather let our products speak for themselves and let genuine customers decide whether they’re worth recommending.

So when somebody tells you they love their CalderPips HushTone, Grip or Tone Halo, you can be confident that their opinion hasn’t been bought with a freebie or a discount code.

They bought it.
They use it.
They love it.
They recommended it.

Simple as that. 👍🏻

Thank you to every single person who has bought from us, shared a photo, made a video, left a review or recommended CalderPips to another musician. You’re the reason our little business continues to grow. ❤️🎺🎶

📣🎺 TRUMPET / CORNET PLAYERS — IT’S HERE! 🎺📣

Our CalderPips HushTone Store-in-the-Bell Kit for Trumpet & Cornet is available NOW! 😁

Designed to make life that little bit easier:

🎺 Stores neatly inside the bell for travelling
🎺 Quiet enough for proper practice at home, backstage, in hotels or wherever you need it
🎺 Free-blowing and responsive — designed not to interfere with your normal playing
🎺 Excellent intonation
🎺 Available in pretty much ANY colour of the rainbow 🌈
🎺 Crazy colour combinations absolutely encouraged!
🎺 Names, initials and simple personalised engraving available too

The whole idea behind our HushTone range is simple: a practice mute should let you practise normally, without adding unnecessary resistance or doing anything that could be detrimental to your sound.

And just to be clear — we don’t give our mutes away for free in exchange for good reviews or positive feedback. Every player you see recommending a CalderPips HushTone has actually bought one and chosen to share their experience. We’re incredibly proud of that.

And when you’re finished… pop it straight into the bell and back in the case. 👌

If you’ve got an unusual instrument or normally struggle to find a mute that fits properly, just message us — bespoke fitting is available too.

🌍 Worldwide postage available.
