Super proud of our club members today travelling down to train at Panthers boxing club in the south coast.
5 hours of technical and hard training with conditioning and pads and bagwork and drills and some good old fashioned beastings from coaches Mark Smith and Tommy Johnson.

Great club and social bonding in demanding training is a fab experience.
Definitely worth the travelling and time to learn in a safe and enjoyable environment. 👍🏼👌

Great weekend for the club with two winners in the adults veteran points and light contact divisions on Saturday Will won the heavyweight light contact division and is now the WKU/ICO British international champion and coach mark winning points vets divisions on the Sunday.

The competition had over 2000 fighters attending in what’s been said to be the biggest kickboxing event in the Uk ever !

Took a small inexperienced team of fighters to Wku’s Oxfordshire open today some first time fighters and a couple novice fighters doing light contact and points fighting .

Some had a great run out on the mats with over 10 fights and others 7 fights as the round robin system was great for them getting mat time and experience.

With 40 participants taking their grades…

We don’t give belts to students they earn it !

Very happy with the Sport Kickboxing team of fighters who attended the WKU Championships with some excellent results some great performances from our youngest fighter just turned 6 years old to our veteran fighters.

Podium places for points fighting and light contact for most of the team fighting novice divisions.
Podium places and a championship for advanced in light contact for two of our ladies in senior age and veteran divisions one British Champion and a Silver this they now have qualified for WKU WC in 2024.

The clubs still raw and new to the scene of competitions but we’re very proud of the members fighting and seeing them smiles make it more e for us as coaches.

Some disappoint with their performances and losses but this is sport and you’ve got to take the wins and losses away and push on to the next. It’s character building.
