Last weekend, 82 Year 10 students completed their Bronze DofE Training Weekend. They were blessed with sunshine for a beautiful walk in the Chilterns and all the students thoroughly enjoyed learning how to map read, pitch tents, cook on a trangia stove and pack their rucksacks. The Expedition Wales Instructors were very impressed with the engagement and effort put in from the students!👏🏼👏🏼

Over the last month, students have organized several fundraisers and raised money for vital charities. Events include the Good Cause Fair and the Eid Around the World fundraiser. The students organized a variety of stalls including a Henna stand, fresh samosas, jewellery, goody bags, second hand textbooks and much more. There was also a stand in which you could bedazzle Mrs Gaunt's head! ✨️

Just one of the fundraisers alone managed to raise £689.40 for Doctors Without Borders, an organization that provides free, emergency medical care to people affected by conflict and disasters🚑

Thank you to everyone who participated in these events and helped raise money for such amazing causes!

Seventeen of our students participated in the Mock Magistrates Trial Competition and represented the school at the Milton Keynes Magistrates Court. After three months of rigorous preparation, they were ready to compete against eight other schools from across Buckinghamshire. They managed to secure a second place spot, which qualifies them for the Regional Finals next year! ☺️🏆The judges were impressed by their quick thinking, articulate delivery and thorough preparation.

A special mention to Vani S, who was awarded Best Legal Advisor- a testament to her meticulous attention to detail and calm manner👏🏼

Thank you to the staff at MK Magistrates Court who generously volunteered their time and expertise to mentor our students. It has provided an invaluable experience for those who took part!
