Year 3 had a fantastic day at Bucks Museum! They explored rocks, fossils and even investigated dinosaur poo! 💩🦖 Our children travelled back in time, discovering prehistoric Buckinghamshire, handling artefacts and making clay beakers. 🏺🔎

What a wonderful way for our pupils to put their classroom learning to life and showing off their knowledge! ❤️ We certainly discovered that we have a class full of budding archaeologists and palaeontologists!

Burger Day at Griffin House yesterday was such a treat!🍔✨ Our children absolutely loved it and our dining room was filled with happy faces, full tummies and plenty of very enthusiastic reviews. Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Griffin House Prep School

Griffin House Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant with experience working with individuals with additional needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), your primary responsibility will be to provide personalised support to a student with additional needs within an educational setting, to start 04.01.2027.

Your role will be pivotal in providing essential support to a child with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be required to collaborate with teachers in delivering programmes of teaching and learning activities and wellbeing support for a child identified as needing 1:1 support.

The primary ocus is to undertake educational activities, within a ramework agreed with and under the overall direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

English and maths GCSEs are essential. You'll also need to show that you can work well with children, teachers, and parents. A qualification in nursery work, childcare, play work or youth work would be desirable.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and confident EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team.

If you enjoy working with young children, have a passion for early learning and want to make a real difference to their school experience, we would love to hear from you.

The role:
You will work closely with the class teacher to support children's learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for someone who is a positive team player, communicates well and can build strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
A relevant Level 3 EYFS qualification is essential.

Previous experience working with young children would be desirable.

Year 5 have been putting their engineering skills to the test, designing, building and testing their very own aeroplanes.🚀
There was plenty of great fun as they experimented, made adjustments and put their creations through their paces to see which could fly the furthest. We even spotted a few potential winners! 🏆

Fantastic teamwork, creativity and determination from everyone! Great effort, Year 5! 👏✨
