Children’s Mental Health Week 2026
This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme, “This Is My Place”, focuses on supporting children and young people to develop a strong sense of belonging at home, in early years settings, in school, and within their wider communities. A sense of belonging is a key protective factor for children’s emotional wellbeing, helping them feel safe, valued, and connected.

The campaign hub brings together a wide range of useful information and resources, including:
• Local and national materials to help promote children and young people’s mental health
• Guidance and activities for early years providers, schools, parents, carers, organisations and community groups
• Ways to get involved, including the Buckinghamshire Mind fundraising activity for schools and educational settings
By working together, we can help children feel grounded, supported, and confident in “their place” wherever that may be.
