HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! A quick stroll around school at lunchtime is always a reminder of what a special place this is. From students enjoying volleyball and film club, to sharing lunch with friends, there’s a real sense of community and happiness around our school.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO SHARE SOME FANTASTIC NEWS!
Over the past few years all of our Trust schools have taken part in staff, student and parent surveys led by Edurio. Edurio run surveys for over 2000 schools in England. The Edurio Awards recognise the top 10 schools nationally in each category, based on national survey data from the 2025/26 academic year and feedback from pupils, staff, and parents.
We are incredibly proud to announce that Axe Valley Academy has been recognised with three prestigious awards:

A HUGE WELL DONE to the students who took part in the Colyton 1 Mile Fun Run at the weekend!
Our students put in some fantastic performances. Special congratulations to Alex, who crossed the line in 1st place, and Ollie, who finished an excellent 2nd.
We were also delighted to see several of our Year 7 students finish in the top 10, including Ben, Harry and Dexter as well as other students putting in great performances.
Well done to everyone who took part and represented the school so brilliantly. As ever, we are very of you!

OUR ANNUAL FUTURES FAIR takes place tomorrow! This is a fantastic opportunity for students and families to meet a wide range of employers, colleges, sixth forms, training providers, public services and industry professionals.
Whether your child already has a career path in mind or is still exploring their options, the Futures Fair is all about inspiring ambitions, opening doors and helping young people make informed choices about their future.
We encourage parents and carers to attend alongside their child. It’s a great chance to ask questions, gather information and explore opportunities together. We look forward to seeing you!
