Design ➡️ Make ➡️ Evaluate
Our Corry class pupils have loved their recent project of designing and making a sandwich. They taste tested different combinations of food and used their favourite combinations to help them design and then make a sandwich to include a range of different food types. Great work everyone! 🥪🥰🥒🥖🧀🥗

Our Year 5/6 pupils are learning all about angles in maths at the moment and have had a brilliant couple of maths lessons recently using masking tape and protractors to measure angles and then using their knowledge to find missing angles in shapes. Well done everyone- super maths work! 👏🏼

Our KS1 pupils have had a brilliant day in Lyme Regis. 🌊 They started the day learning about beach pollution for their current geography work and did a litter pick to find out which areas of Lyme Regis had the most litter and what was the most common littered item. Thank you plasticfreeaxminster for lending out your litter pickers! Then they enjoyed some free time on the beach where they had a visit from Simon and Amy from waffleaxminster who delivered an ice cream treat- thanks guys!!! 😍 In the afternoon they had a brilliant afternoon with Chris from Lyme Regis Fossil Walks, Fossilwise who talked to the children all about fossils, Mary Anning and took everyone on a fossil hunting adventure. A brilliant day- thanks to everyone (especially our parent volunteers) who helped make today happen. 🥰

Our Year 3/4 pupils had a brilliant morning out at Colyton Grammar School colytongrammarschooldevon this week for a gymnastics workshop. 🤸 They practised a variety of poses, travelling and jumps, made their own routines and got to see some of the Colyton pupils demonstrating their abilities too! A brilliant morning and Corry class did brilliantly at representing our school. Well done everyone! 🥰

We had the BEST time yesterday and was by far the best visit to Colyton for P.E that we have done.

Their Sports Leader said 'This is the best class we have had so far, both in skill and behaviour. They have been absolutely amazing. I'm so impressed!'

Well of course... They are Corry Class 😉

Kit class have had such a wonderful (and very busy!) day at the farm today. 🐑🥰 They met and fed some of the lambs, collected eggs and even got to see and feed the chicks that they had watched hatch from eggs back in the spring term! They were lucky enough to give them a gentle stroke too — I wonder if the chicks recognised the children?! 🐣 After lunch, they had lots of fun playing in the new mud kitchen (which was a big hit!) before heading back up to the field to collect more eggs, feed the lambs their lunch and explore some wool. 🐑 A brilliant day out for our youngest pupils! ☺️
