Good morning sewers.. just a polite reminder that those booked on the 6 week course starting on the 7th of September please can I ask that payment is made. I will message you all with bank details and what you need to bring with you.i have a set pattern planned for the first few sessions with your second project to be your individual choices.. I will share the details via messenger once place secured.. looking forward to starting the journey with you all garment making. It will be just like our very own sewing bee!

Here are some of our recent workshop makes our fabulous sewers have produced during their workshops. It's all about learning new skills and having fun along the way. Each project is designed to teach you a new element to build your skill level for the more ambitious makes and longer projects.
Spaces available on the September one off workshops. £25 for 2 hour session with everything supplied Adult and junior sessions available. If you would like to come and see the workshop and find out more send us a message and we can arrange a visit for you.
We will be adding Christmas gift sample makes to the projects in the next few weeks so follow us so you don't miss these

Wow what a fabulous day in the studio today. 3 sessions and lots of fun makes from complete beginners, returning sewers learning new skills to skilled sewers trying different methods and enjoying the studios relaxed vibe and creative space.

I am now looking at the Christmas workshops !
How would you like a half day Christmas gift workshop for juniors? Thinking 10 to 1pm & 2pm to 5pm? And an All day session for adults 10 to 4pm ( bring your lunch or place your order with the little acorns Cafe on site) learn how to make different gifts and take the patterns as well as your makes home with you so you can make more at home? More details to follow..

Spaces available for tomorrows (22nd August) adult 2pm workshop if you fancy coming along for a few hours of sewing and making something you never thought you could. No experience needed and everything supplied including the tea coffee and biscuits!

Our latest workshop was all about water bottle carriers. These put the sewers to the test with straight lines quilting the top fabric for that professional look, boxed corners and adjustable straps. A great make that's quite addictive!
We were also joined by one of our talented junior sewers who nailed a very pretty fabric pot and the magic of learning how to make scrunchies! A great session with really fun makes. Well done ladies
Watch this space...For all the equestrians on here we are adapting the water carrier design to clip on to a saddle .
