Anti-Bullying Week 2025 will take place from Monday 10th to Friday 14th November, with the theme: Power for Good.
This theme aligns perfectly with our school values – Respect for Yourself, Respect for Others, and Respect for the Environment – as we continue to nurture a happy, family-oriented and community-focused environment.
Odd Socks Day will be held on Friday 14th November, and we encourage all staff and children to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes each of us unique.
Throughout the week, children will take part in a range of activities across the school to mark Anti-Bullying Week – an invaluable and meaningful part of our school calendar.

The programme is being run for the next 4 to 6 weeks and the P7 pupils are delighted. The class had wonderful fun during today’s lesson and they learnt even more Irish which was fantastic.

Halloween Spooktacular Dress Up Day
We had a spooktacular Halloween Assembly this morning, following a terrific movie afternoon organised by the Friends of St Mary’s. It was fantastic to see so many amazing costumes today. Well done to all the girls and boys, and indeed their parents and guardians, for their creativity and effort. Our musicians enhanced the assembly with a wonderful performance, adding to the festive atmosphere. We hope everyone enjoys a relaxing and enjoyable break. School reopens on Monday, 3rd November. Keep up to date with all scheduled events by viewing the calendar on our school website.
