[03/09/21]   The Staff and Committee of Woodland Afterschool Club deeply regret the sad passing of Fergal. A loving husband to our former Chairperson Roisin.

Our after-school children were very lucky to have had Fergal as a coach every Tuesday afternoon up until last year.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Roisin, Aine, Aoife, Maura, Lisa and to all his extended family and friends.
May he rest in peace.πŸ™πŸ»

BBC Children in Need

Coronavirus has had an impact on families across the UK in more ways than we can possibly imagine. We’ve heard about some of them in the news. But there are so many other stories that are happening right now without a headline.

Here, actor Shaun Dooley shares one of those stories, of Alfie and his family, and how your kindness made the difference.

Together, we can fund the Emergency Essentials programme through an organisation called Family Fund – providing basic needs to families in crisis through no fault of their own.

🌟Tomorrow Friday 13th November🌟

We are supporting Children in Need this year by having a Pyjama party, lots of fun exciting activities and Hot refreshments 😊

Children in Need supports our setting in helping with our children's emotional, social and physical well being. Children in Need has helped our children grow and become more resilient. It has allowed us to give the children activities that is good for their mental health and we are very thankful for that especially during these challenging times.

Tomorrow we ask that the children bring their pyjamas with them and if parents could kindly make a donation to this very worth cause it would be much appreciated. Anyone who is not in tomorrow and would still like to donate can do so before next Friday 20th November.

Thank you all for your support at this time πŸ˜€πŸŒˆ
