Nat 5 Maths sessions from now until the exams. If you or your student wants to attend at times other than their usual just send me a message 🙂

The night before the exam I'll have a 2 hour session (6-8) where they can come along for as little or as long as they like. A final opportunity to remind students of a few things, let them ask questions and ultimately build confidence 😊

Students can come to as many sessions as they want and if it's not their regular one just send me a message to let me know.

I've booked a room at Bertha Park for 2 hours the night before the exam. It's a last chance to remind students of a couple of things and get their confidence up. Again, let me know if you or your student is coming.

Just a wee reminder to all my students that there are no Aberuthven sessions tonight.

There are next Sunday 12th which all are invited to.(just message me to let me know they are coming please)

Still plenty of spaces in Tuesday 14th Higher Maths (9-1) and Nat 5 Maths (1.30-5.30)
and Thursday 16th Nat 5 Apps (9-1) practice exams in Aberuthven village hall. If you want a place and haven't already contacted me then,, again, just message me.

And finally, with sessions not starting back at Bertha Park until the 22nd, should any pupil be stuck or unsure of a question please send me a photo of it and I'll get back to you with an explanation. We are very close to the exams now so I'll do anything I can to help (as always 😁)

SQA exams preparation.

With just under 8 and 9 weeks until these exams do you or someone you know want some extra help?

I run small group classes in these three courses where students can ask questions, practice exam questions and be shown where marks are often dropped.

I've taught Maths for over 20 years and I have tutored for a lot of that time. I'm a GTCS registered Maths teacher and have an up to date PVG.

I love delivering these sessions and I'm always happy to help students to realise their potential.

Weekly sessions are £10 and are at;

Aberuthven village hall, Sundays
Nat 5 Maths 6-7pm
Higher Maths 7-8 and 8-9pm

Bertha Park High School
Tuesdays
Nat 5 Apps 6-7pm
Higher Maths 8-9pm

Thursday
Nat 5 Maths 6-7pm
Higher Maths 7-8pm
Nat 5 Apps 8-9pm.

I also run practice exams in the Easter holidays where students will complete an exam under exam conditions. A great way to gain confidence and maybe not have quite as many butterflies when you sit down to the actual exam.

MATHS exam prep.

On a Sunday at Aberuthven village hall I offer exam preparation for Nat 5 and Higher Maths.

Each session is an hour long, limited to 10 students and costs £10.

Furthermore, all my students will have the opportunity to sit a practice exam with me in Aberuthven village hall during the Easter holidays. This is a great way to build confidence and highlight any weak areas that we need to address before the exams in May.

I have 4 sessions on a Sunday and have spaces in all of them.

Nat 5 Maths 5-6pm
Nat 5 Maths 6-7pm
Higher Maths 7-8pm
Higher Maths 8-9pm

If you or a student you know is looking for a bit of extra help on a regular basis text, WhatsApp or call me on 0771 849 2994 and they can come along and try a session. If it doesn't suit them there is no obligation to come back.

Less than 10 weeks to go! Start now and be better prepared for the exams.🙂

Easter holidays Practice Exams.

This is a message for all my students and their parents.

On Tuesday 14th of April I will be offering my students the opportunity to complete a practice exam for
Higher Maths 9am-1pm and
Nat 5 Maths 1.30-5.30pm.

On Thursday 16th
9am-1pm is Nat 5 Apps.

These sessions are a great way to gain confidence and find any weak areas that we can then work on.

All sessions take place in Aberuthven village hall and cost £30.

I've gone through my contact list and messaged everyone about these sessions but I thought it best to put a note here in case I've missed anyone or they haven't picked up the message.

MATHS EXAM PREP.....

Nat 5 Apps, Nat 5 Maths and Higher Maths.

I run exam preparation sessions for the above courses. Each session is an hour, costs £10, is in groups limited to 10 students and run right up until the nights before the exam.

I've taught Maths for over 20 years and have tutored students to prepare for their exams. GTCS registered and PVG'd.

To the parents of the students who attend my Thursday night sessions at Bertha Park, I'm sorry but I've had to cancel this evening's sessions. I've messaged all concerned and offered other times that students can attend and also reminded them that if anyone is stuck on a question to send me a picture of it and I'll write an explanation.

Happy New Year to all the students who attend my classes.

A reminder that sessions start again from this Thursday (8th).🙂

If anyone is stuck on anything before I see you, you know to get your parent to send me the question/topic and I'll reply with an explanation.😀
