💜 First Week Back 💜

What a jam-packed week! 🥰 With new classes, fabulous new students and new tricks unlocked for some of my awesome Acro kids!! 🤸‍♀️✨

I didn’t manage to take many videos this week as it was just so busy! 💃

✨ DAY 4 COMPLETE! ✨

It's hard to believe we've reached Day 4 already! This week is flying by, and every single day my amazing students continue to impress me. ❤️

Today's timetable was packed with:
🩰 Ballet
🤸 Acro
💃 Jazz
🎭 Musical Theatre Performance Piece
🎨 Performance Face Paint & Makeup

There was so much creativity, determination, and enthusiasm throughout the day. From refining technique to bringing our performance characters to life, everyone worked incredibly hard while having so much fun along the way.

One of my favourite parts of this week has been watching new friendships blossom, confidence grow, and seeing everyone encourage and support one another.

Now it's all leading up to our final day tomorrow! 🌟

Tomorrow, I'll be introducing everyone to a brand-new dance style—Flamenco—along with castanets! I trained in Flamenco and completed grade examinations during my full-time dance training. I can't wait to share it with everyone before we finish what has been such an incredible week.

One last day of dancing, rehearsing, laughing, and making memories before we celebrate everything we've learned together. I can't wait to see everyone perform and end the week on a high! 💖

☀️ Summer Camp – Day 2 ☀️

Another brilliant day at Summer Camp! My dancers & acrobats gave 100% in every class, worked hard, supported each other, and had so much fun along the way.
It was great to see everyone giving more new styles a go and learning to love all things dance!

✨CLS CAMP WEEK IS ALMOST HERE! ✨

💜 My First Ever Summer Camp Starts Monday! August 3rd - 7th , 11 - 4pm

Monday is the start of the studio’s very first Dance, Aerial, acrobatic & Performing Arts Summer Camp, and I honestly can't wait! 🎉
This week's camp is fully booked, but I wanted to give everyone a little sneak peek at what my summer students will be getting up to in Auchtetarder.

As a fully trained and qualified teacher and professional performer across a wide range of dance, aerial, acrobatic and performing arts disciplines, I've designed the camp to give every child the chance to experience different styles, build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and most importantly, have lots of fun and perform a small performance at the end of the week!

A huge thank you to everyone who has booked a place—I can't wait to see you all on Monday ❤️

A little reintroduction for all my new followers… 💜

For those who are new here, I'm Cherysse – an Auchterarder girl who was lucky enough to grow up dancing in the town. Returning home to open CLS Studio in 2022 – Auchterarder's dedicated resident dance and aerial arts studio – has been incredibly special, as it continues a family legacy. My mum established the original dance school in Auchterarder, and it's a privilege to carry that passion for dance and performance forward for the next generation.

Over the last 27 years, I've been fortunate to train, teach and perform professionally across the UK, Europe and the USA before bringing all of that experience home to Auchterarder. I'm incredibly proud of the journey that has led me back to where it all began.

✨ My professional background includes:

• Trained at The Hammond School, Chester, graduating in 2002 with a Trinity College London National Diploma in Professional Dance.

• Professional training in Classical Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Modern Dance and Flamenco.

• ISTD Teaching Qualifications.
• BATD Teaching Qualification.
• RAD Ballet examinations with Distinction up to Advanced level.

• Multiple Scottish Acrobatic Dance Championship titles.

• Professional aerial arts training in Florida, USA, with former Cirque du Soleil performers, leading to a career as a professional aerialist.
