I would like to show appreciation to each of the 23 children and their families for the support over the last 5 years. We have loved caring and providing a home from home for you all.

We are moving on to a new venture and hope that we are as successful as Castleton Childcare has been. We have lots of good memories and have made so many friends along the way, we really cannot thank you enough.🥰

It's coming to that time of year where children and families are preparing to move on to nursery and this is creating some spaces for us.

At the moment, I am able to offer one 9am to 3pm space with an immediate start, this would be term-time Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

From August I will also have some further availability which I will be able to confirm around mid May.

And just like that the summer holidays come to an end 😊☀️ We have had a great summer and enjoyed lots of activities and adventures with some of our children.

We are sad to say goodbye to the first family who entrusted us with their children, we wish them the best of luck going forward and thank you for being great customers and friends.

On the other side of this, we are excited to welcome 4 new children to join us, I have no doubt everyone will make them feel welcome and help them to explore and find where Emma hides the best snacks🫣😊🍓🍉🍪

Welcome back to some of my families this week, we enjoyed our 2 week break but we have missed you all.

We enjoyed lots of activities this week, the highlights were junk modelling (check out C's robot 🤖) and a trip to the safari park where we helped J learn the names of some new animals and their sounds 🦁🦒🦝🦭

Over the Easter break we developed a love for beans of all shapes, sizes and colours😄

We are excited to welcome our children back tomorrow morning for more fun and exploring 😀

We are 2 years into the best life choice I have made. ☺️

Changing career was so scary, the not knowing if it would work for our family, navigating the self employed world from qualifications to tax and not knowing if I would get any business at all. I can happily say my family and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I want to thank all those that use our service, you truly are all extended members of this household and we care so much for each and every child! 🥰

There is a huge shortage of childminders in the area so if anyone is contemplating this as a career please give me a shout, I will happily share my knowledge (which is still very much under construction😂) and I would say it is such a rewarding job to help children thrive, grow and learn.

Spaces available for your little ones.

Monday to Friday 7am til 8pm.

I have spaces for preschool and under 12s before and after school.

I am also available during the whole of the Easter holidays this year.
