Our Primary 7 leavers party was a blast! ☀️🎉 We had the best time celebrating together and making special memories💛🖤

A huge thank you to Tesco for kindly donating crisps and water – it was very much appreciated in this warm weather! 💙 We also enjoyed delicious Domino’s pizza and an ice cream treat. 🍕🍦

A reminder that the Primary 7 Leavers’ Assembly is tomorrow at 3:30pm and families are warmly invited to attend. P7 pupils will remain in school after the end of the day. If there are any issues, please contact the school office tomorrow.

PRIZEGIVING - CHANGE OF VENUE

DUE TO THE WEATHER CONDITIONS, OUR PRIZEGIVING WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE SCHOOL GYM HALL THIS AFTERNOON. THE CEREMONY WILL START AT 1.30PM.

YOU WILL HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED IF YOUR CHILD IS RECEIVING A PRIZE.
P7 PARENTS SHOULD COME ALSO, LAST APS PRIZE GIVING

ALL CHILDREN CAN BE PICKED UP FROM SCHOOL AT 3PM AS NORMAL.

Primary School - Remember your jackets tomorrow!

AYRSHIRE WEATHER THURSDAY.

Some very wet weather to come over the next few days as a series of Atlantic fronts brings heavy rain but also some warm, humid conditions.

This evening and night afew showers but good dry spells too.

Quite a muggy night.

Heavy rain will set in around dawn.

THURSDAY.🌧️🌧️🌧️---☁️☁️🌦️🌤️☁️☁️--⛈️

Starting dull and wet with some heavy rain resulting in poor driving conditions with puddles and spray on the roads.⚠️

During the afternoon it will turn drier but still with a few showers around.

Some brightness may make it through but if this happens some heavy, possibly thundery showers may break out during the evening.

Wetter still on Friday but the good news is that it will turn drier with some warm sunshine over the weekend.

It will also feel muggy and humid, especially at night.

Summer is coming and this year sees Glasgow hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

In school, each class is researching one of the 74 nations and territories that is competing in the games.

P1 - Australia
P2 - Canada
P3 - India
P4 - Jamaica
P5 - South Africa
P6 - Singapore
P7 - Fiji
Healthy May week

Every day this week we have taken part in a different event, there are 10 in the Commonwealth Games this summer.

Monday - Netball/Basketball
Tuesday - Gymnastics
Wednesday - Boxing
Thursday - Boccia/Bowls
Friday - Athletics

P4-7 during assembly, have learned a little more about some of the athletes, moved along to the beat with Finnie the mascot, and taken part in some House challenges.

We had a fantastic time at Dolphin House! 🌿🌊 We spotted lots of links to our Harmony Project principles such as adaptation, oneness and health through activities like rock pooling, conservation, abseiling and archery 🏹 🧗‍♂️🦀

Thank you to everyone at Dolphin House for such an amazing experience — we loved every minute! A huge well done to all of the children for their excellent manners, respect and positive attitudes throughout the trip💛🖤
