🌟 Dodgeball Stars in Action! 🌟

We’re incredibly proud of our 11 fantastic Year 4 and Year 5 pupils who represented our school at the Dodgeball Competition held at the UEA Sports Park this week.

They showed brilliant teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event — and had plenty of fun along the way!

A huge well done to all of them for giving it their all and being such wonderful ambassadors for our school.

We are so incredibly grateful to our Families Association for Old Buckenham Primary School and Nursery! Thank you so much. Thanks to all of their hard work raising money for our school, we now have this incredible donation for our outdoor area. Our Reception children were buzzing to go outside and explore this awesome new mud kitchen today. In the photos, some of our children are modelling two pieces of sign language, saying 'thank you' and that they are 'excited'. They really were over the moon! Roll on Spring 2 so we can get out there and play!

On Tuesday, our Year 3 pupils had a wonderful day exploring both the synagogue and Norwich Cathedral. It was a fantastic opportunity to deepen their learning about different faiths, traditions, and places of worship.
The children were curious, engaged, and full of thoughtful questions throughout the day. Experiences like these help bring classroom learning to life and broaden their understanding of the world around them.
A big thank you to our hosts for welcoming us so warmly, and to our staff for organising such a meaningful visit.

What a fantastic experience that all of our Reception children had on the Santa Dash! We were really lucky to have a guest visitor plan an orienteering challenge around our school grounds. We had to save Christmas by finding all of the lost presents hidden around our large school field. A huge thank you to our brilliant Year 5 Active Crew and Year 6 Playtime Pals who supported our youngest pupils to thrive during this activity!
