A message for all parents from the Salvation Army:-

The Salvation Army has been donated a quantity of new school uniforms, which we are able to offer free of charge to families who may benefit from them. The items currently available are:

Shorts - Skirts - Trousers

Sizes range from 3–4 years up to 13–14 years.

If any of your families would like to make use of these items, please ask them to visit our charity shop on Lower Goat Lane, where the uniforms are being held.

Well done to Year 6! They had their Key Stage 2 SATS tests this week. They have worked very hard and we are very proud of them! Thank you to the staff who came in early to help with the SATS breakfasts and thank you to the kitchen for providing a huge amount of bacon sandwiches on Thursday! We hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

On Friday, we had a fantastic cross-curricular orienteering enrichment day! Each class had a session with Mary and Kelly. The children had a great time trying out our new, permanent orienteering course. They worked on their map reading and problem-solving skills. Teachers also had a training session, after school last Thursday, on how to use the course for different curriculum areas. A big thank you to Mr Myhill, our PE Lead, for organising this. Children will be using the course for outdoor learning in various subjects which will further enrich the curriculum
