Itโs been a week full of imagination, creativity and exciting discoveries at The Apple Tree!
The children have been diving into the wonderful world of space, aliens and monsters, with lots of fun activities bringing their imaginations to life. They enjoyed making their very own green alien bread rolls, as well as exploring the Colour Monster through a fun and colourful tuff tray.
Our Bramley Room also took part in National Badger Day, discovering more about these fascinating animals through their learning and play.
There has been plenty of monster-themed creativity too! The babies enjoyed making handprint monster ghosts, while the children also experimented with bubbling painting to create their own colourful monsters, complete with wacky eyes!
The Bramley Room have also been enjoying exploring their lovely new resources corner, including new wooden chairs, a bookcase and play kitchen equipment, creating even more opportunities for imaginative play and exploration.
Alongside all the fun, the children have also been learning about our Golden Apples Golden Rules and what they mean in everyday nursery life: kind hands, little voices, listening ears, tidy-up time, walking feet and good sitting. These simple rules help the children understand how we can be kind, respectful and safe while learning and playing together.
