Today we have enjoyed celebrating 60 years of Atherton Pre-School Day Care, alongside the community centre - celebrating 50 years. 🎉🎉

Atherton Pre-School Day Care started life as a play group organised by a voluntary association in 1966.

In 1986, we moved to Central Methodist Church on High Street, Atherton.

In 1997 we changed our name to 'Atherton Pre-School Day Care', 15 years later in 2012 we moved from Central Methodist Church to The Community Centre on Dorset Road, Atherton, this has been our location ever since.

Some names from our past that you may remember:-

Marie, Carolyn, Helen, Stella, Carole, Sue, Doreen, Janice, Linda, Diane, Rachael, Amanda, Claire, Louise, Kath, Julie, Lynn, Joanne, Lyndsey.

Our graduation ceremony was a wonderful occasion. It is such a special milestone for the children.

We wish everyone a fantastic summer break full of fun and wonderful memories, and best of luck to the children, and families, on their exciting new adventures ahead! 😊
