Track Tots

Thomas celebrated his 80th birthday on 12 May 2025. “Happy Birthday” from all of us! We will have our Track Tots sessions back up and running during the summer. Weekend and weekday sessions. Choo Choo! 🚂

Track Tots was so lovely today! 🚂 Thank you for coming along. Excited children, parents relaxing, warm shade, lots of track building, problem solving and socialising. The trains had a super time too and the chickens made it to their new home on time! Choo! Choo! 🚂

Track Tots - It’s such a beautiful morning, we will be outside on the lawn. Grab a take away at the cafe - ice cream and a coffee - and join us for a wonderful play date! Trains at the ready! 🚂

Lots of lovely happy trains today - they were glowing and their lights were on!
The colours in the dark were popping! Such a different experience, if you've never seen anything like it before. The 'in the dark' track is totally different to the traditional sets, so it gives another experience in creating the scenes.

£5 per child, siblings £2.
11am to 12.15pm on Saturdays.
Suitable for 2 year olds to 5 years, and siblings to under 11.
Some sessions are open to 2 year olds to 7 year olds. We still have a few older ones who love trains, so we are opening up these sessions for them too.
On all of these dates, we will be opening up both rooms for traditional sets and in the dark sets.

Join us for a wonderful session building tracks - for the docks, the mine, the airport, the countryside and the town. Race our trains and road vehicles across points and signals, crossings and through tunnels. We will be attempting to make a gigantic circular tower too! It's a super social session for little train enthusiasts and parents who want to see what their little one is into before buying a set.

Track Tots! Mill (indoors), The Tots' Clubhouse
Suitable for 2 year olds to under 5s.
An hour of social train and track play for those little rail enthusiasts.
We have an extensive collection of classic and rare trains and tracks. As well as some of the latest 'glow in the dark' trains and tracks. Our sessions are focused on building and playing together. We only use genuine Thomas and Friends resources with books, jigsaws, games and train role play for everyone to enjoy too.
Children should be supervised at all times (these are parent-child interaction sessions) due to the use of batteries and small train parts.

🚂 Track Tots will be back on a Saturday morning for a few specials over the next few months. Choo! Choo! 🚂
We will be re-opening our doors to all of our train loving families. We have been promising all of the little ones that we would be back up and running asap and we are nearly ready.
Sessions will be for 1 hour and 15 mins on a Saturday morning (likely to start at 11am). They will be in our Willow Room at Alder Mill. Our 2022 price of £5 per child and £2 per sibling will stay until the Spring. There will be train sets for under 2s, train sets for under 7s, jigsaws, dressing-up, activity sheets, and everything else train related!
We will have a few 'trains in the dark' sessions too. Lots to look forward to.🚂👍
