It's taken me a few days to reflect on the news of Hayden Panettiere's passing 💔

I grew up watching her in Heroes but didn't know her personally only her character. I now know more about her and wish the people guiding her would have protected her more.

I didn't know at the time we would go on to have similar lives, be severely let down by most people she trusted, be so vulnerable to abuse, be let down by all the professionals who are meant to protect and serve and be left to just figure it out.

I luckily had a Mom who loved me growing up and still does (even though I haven't been easy from the moment I was born sorry Mom)

Her Dad sounds like mine and losing him suddenly 17 years ago was a massive turning point in my life 💔😫😭

I have my Mom's strength, resilience & determination luckily. I will carry on writing my story and hopefully it will save lives.

There was a time I never thought this day would come.

Yesterday, the three of us set off on our very first family holiday abroad together. Just me, Tara, and Ethan. ❤️✈️

To many, it may look like just another holiday, but to us, it's so much more. It's a celebration of freedom, healing, resilience, and the courage to keep going, even when life feels impossible.

There was a time when I questioned whether I'd ever have the confidence or freedom to create moments like this with my children. After everything we've been through, standing here today feels like a victory in itself.

Tara is an adult now, Ethan is growing up far too quickly, and I couldn't be prouder of the incredible people they are becoming. Watching them laugh, dream, and embrace life reminds me exactly why I never gave up.

One of our favourite sayings has carried us through so many moments:
'She believed she could, so she did.'

Those words remind us that strength isn't about never struggling, it's about believing that a better future is possible, even when you can't yet see it.

If our journey has taught me anything, it's this: adversity doesn't have to be the end of your story. It can be the beginning of a new one. A life without fear, limits, or barriers really is possible. It takes courage, patience, and hope..... but it can be achieved.

So if you're reading this and you're facing your own battles, please don't stop believing in yourself. Keep taking those small steps forward. One day you'll look back and realise that the life you once thought was out of reach has become your reality.

Here's to new memories, new adventures, and a future filled with possibilities. ❤️

It was so lovely having some of my Chase Colts Ladies team over last night for a Tropic Pamper Night with Emma Henderson 🌿💚

We learnt so much about the amazing products and the story behind how the company began. There was lots of fun, laughter, and a great atmosphere all evening!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and a special thank you to Emma for travelling all the way from Tamworth to showcase the products and share her knowledge.

We enjoyed it so much that we've decided to make it a monthly get-together, with a different theme each time! 🎉
