Tomorrow is Week 6 — the final week of our 6-week Summer Postnatal Programme 🎉💛

What a brilliant six weeks it has been.

Our mums have been working through Foundations and Progressions, building strength, confidence and trust in their bodies step by step.

It’s been so rewarding to see the progress made, but just as special to see the support within the group. These women encourage each other, celebrate each other’s wins and create such a positive space to keep moving forward together.

A huge well done to every mum who has shown up, kept going and made progress over these six weeks 👏✨

And we’re not stopping here…

I’m so excited to continue that progress with returning mums, while also welcoming new mums, on our 12-week Postnatal Programme starting 21st September.

Here’s to stronger foundations, continued progress and the next chapter 💪🤍

Back in the day job past two weeks and definitely still adjusting to getting everything balanced again and organised.

So just a little apology if I’ve been slower than usual replying to messages. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes, and I’m hoping to use some time this weekend, especially in the evenings, to catch up on admin and get back on top of everything.

If you’ve already given me your name for the next Foundations programme and you’re waiting on payment details, confirmation or anything else, I’ll be in touch this weekend. Everyone will also hear from me again before the programme starts.

For those currently doing Foundations who have already expressed an interest in moving into Progressions, I’ll be sending some emails through this weekend. If you’re interested, please let me know, as there are limited spaces available 🙂
There are also still a very limited number of spaces left for the next Foundations programme.

Thank you for bearing with me while I adjust to being back at work, keep the programmes running and continue working on plenty behind the scenes too. I really appreciate your patience.

Watching her move, explore, copy me and find so much happiness in it all is pure magic.

She doesn’t see exercise as something she has to do. To her, movement is play, curiosity, connection and freedom. She joins in because it looks fun, because she wants to be close to me, and because moving her body brings her joy.

And it’s such a reminder to me of how much our own relationship with movement matters.

So, a gentle reminder for mums: notice the way you speak to yourself.

Are you moving your body from a place of joy, strength and self-respect? Or from a place of punishment, guilt and feeling like you need to “make up” for something?

And if it’s the latter sometimes, that doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. Especially postpartum, our bodies can feel unfamiliar, our confidence can shift, and there can be so much pressure to “get back” to who we were before.

Maybe the goal isn’t to get back at all.

Maybe it’s to meet yourself where you are now, with a little more kindness. To move because it supports your mood, your energy, your strength and your sense of self. To let fitness be something that gives to you, rather than something that takes from you.

I want her to grow up knowing that movement is not about earning food, shrinking her body or fixing herself. It’s about feeling strong. Capable. Happy. Free.

No punishment. No pressure. Just movement, joy, connection and the privilege of having a body that can do amazing things.

And watching her little personality come alive through it all — the copying, the concentration, the laughter, the determination — is pure magic. 🤍✨

September programmes are coming.🔥

Both Foundations and Progressions start Monday 21st September.
Gym 28, Astley

If you’re returning to exercise after having your baby and want to rebuild confidence, strength and understanding of your body, Foundations is for you.

If you’ve already been training, completed a previous programme, or you’re ready for an additional challenge, Progressions gives you the opportunity to keep building with more load, complexity and intensity.

Both programmes are postnatal-focused, supportive, educational and baby-friendly, so you can bring your little one along with you.

Foundations
For returning to exercise after birth and rebuilding strong foundations with confidence.

Progressions
For mums with a training base who want to continue getting stronger and challenge themselves further.

You’ll understand the reason behind the exercises, continue learning about your postnatal body and have a supportive community around you while you train.

Starting Monday 21st September.

Limited spaces available. Send me a DM for more information or to secure your place.

Just a glimpse of Foundations

Yes, this is a mum and baby fitness class, but the focus is very much on you, Mum.

Foundations is about so much more than just getting a workout in.

It’s about giving you the information, knowledge and support to understand your postnatal recovery properly.

Why we’re doing each exercise.
What your body is recovering from.
How breathing, pressure management, core function, pelvic floor, hips, ribs and strength all link together.
How to recognise what feels right for you.
And how to build confidence in your body again.

Throughout the programme, you’re not just following exercises, you’re learning the reason behind them.

You’re also given resources to keep referring back to, so you can continue learning outside of the sessions and better understand your own recovery process.

And then there’s the community.

Being surrounded by other women who are going through similar stages, supporting one another, asking questions, sharing experiences and building confidence together is such a big part of what makes this programme special.

This is just a small glimpse of what Foundations is about.

The next 12-week Foundations Programme starts 21st September and spaces are already very limited.

If you’re interested in joining, pop me a DM and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Week 2… we go again tomorrow. 💪🏼

Week 2 of our 6-week Foundations & Progressions programmes and there’s plenty more to come.

More information. More education. New exercises. More understanding of your body and the reasons behind what we’re doing. And, most importantly, having that space for an hour to move, learn and do something for you.

And if you’re looking for another opportunity to train this week, Mum Reset is back Thursday, 7:30–8:30pm in Astley.

No babies. No children. Just an hour for you.

Mum Reset is a slightly higher-intensity, strength-based evening class, but every session is tailored around the women who book on. Come and lift, move, switch off from everything else for an hour and leave feeling like you’ve done something for yourself.

£7.50 per session.
Book through the link in my bio.

Sometimes you just need to reserve that hour for you. ✨

Wow… what a morning, and I’m truly grateful. ✨

Today marked the start of our new 6-week Foundations Programme, and welcoming 14 amazing ladies into the room was such a special feeling.

We started exactly where every strong foundation should begin learning how to connect with the core canister through breathing, understanding the deep core, and introducing functional movement patterns that will carry through everything we do over the next six weeks. Building confidence, improving movement quality and helping every woman understand her body is always the priority.

After Foundations, it was straight into our Progressions class, welcoming back so many familiar faces ready to continue building on everything they’ve already achieved. Watching women return stronger, more confident and ready for the next challenge is so rewarding.

Days like today remind me why I do this. It’s about so much more than exercise. It’s about creating a space where women feel supported, educated, encouraged and empowered through every stage of their postnatal journey.

Thank you to every single one of you for trusting me. I’m so excited to see what the next six weeks bring. 🤍

I have spaces left on my 12 week Foundations Programme starting September 🙌
