Hi my name is Kelly pike I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Astley with my husband and 2 children, a boy aged 8 and a little girl aged 5. I offer a secure, warm, loving and welcoming home from home environment for your children, I have dedicated the whole ground floor to child mind and have plenty of resources that children can access freely. I follow the Early Years Foundation Progr

amme for your children to be school ready. I love to do lots of sensory play, crafts, baking, singing and dancing and we get out and about every day to parks, children centres, farms and swimming etc. We love to learn through play and I plan different themes each week. I can do full days as well as drop off and pick up from Garrett Hall School and I take on children from 5 months plus. I offer a healthy balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between for your little ones. I can cater for special dietary requirements. This week has been a cold and windy one. So we have mainly been indoors. We have been doing lots of phonics with the older ones and we have looked at number recognitions with out 2/3 year olds, as well as making a little something for our mummy's. We enjoyed visits to playgroups and parks too 😊

This week we have covered the last of our Chinese New year topic, whilst we have been to visit playgroup, the park, Dunham Massey and Bents garden centre 😊 this week we also have a walker outdoors now (not just in) and someone learnt how to put their own coat on whilst another did their zip up ☺️ super proud childminder of my little ones

3 weeks into January and we have had so many learning opportunities. We have had a child extend their knowledge of sight words, a child who can now recognise his own name and has also started to write some letters of their name. We have a child who can now recognise some numerals and the odd letter. And a child who can now count to 15 and ride a bike 😊 and we can't forget about our little one who can now walk with confidence, all whilst learning about winter, the arctic and this week about garden birds. ❄️🐦‍⬛
