🎨⚽ October half-term plans?

JayLee Sports is bringing two activity clubs to Ashton Hayes Primary School!

Children aged 5–11 can enjoy Arts & Crafts with Halloween, fireworks and Bonfire Night themes, or Multi-Sports with football, tennis, netball, basketball and glow-in-the-dark dodgeball.

Year 6 had the BEST time at their Conway residential a few weeks ago! Thank you for your patience while we collated and sorted through lots of photos (we took digital disposable-type cameras for the children to enjoy taking their own photos and documenting their Year 6 memories). What a great Friday it’s been

Arrived safely and after a busy (if not quite damp) afternoon on low ropes, abseiling and canoeing. They’ve blown their cash in the shop and are currently playing all together.

It's been a fantastic morning of Sports Day activities - the rain stayed away long enough for KS1 and 2 to complete their field events and to accumulate points for their colour teams. As always, we were super proud of all of our children for their participation, their resilience, their support for one another and of course, for their amazing sporting abilities. A huge thank you to our oldest children who ran the activities so brilliantly for our littlest humans. We're all very excited for our track events in June when the weather is (hopefully) nicer. Have a lovely half term everyone!

Day 2 done. Group A have enjoyed doing the high ropes, secret agent problem solving and the zip wire. Group B have enjoyed doing secret agent problem solving, high ropes and kayaking. 🚣🧗‍♂️🕵️‍♂️
Mr Morris, Jay and Mrs Mason were top performers in the activities even with a lack of sleep 😂
Roll on tomorrow. Hopefully home by the end of the normal school day.

The year 4’s arrived safely at Min Y Don just before lunch. They settled in to their rooms, had a little tour of the site and then went to their first activity. Group A started with kayaking whilst group B started with archery. They enjoyed an evening meal together and then played a game of smugglers before supper and bed. We’ve all had a great first day and are excited for tomorrow.
