This morning, our Nursery children enjoyed their last session of the school year by having a Teddy Bears Picnic.
Teddies to the ready, we all headed up to the Forest School singing songs and giggling with our friends. We read the story “We’re going on a Bear Hunt” and we went on our very own Bear Hunt around the Forest School. Gathered in a circle, we talked about who had found the most and who had found the least bears. We used lots of positional language and counted beyond 20. The best part of the session was the picnic itself where we ate Cheese and Jam Sandwiches, Teddy Bear Crisp and yummy Teddy Bear Cakes. A big thank you to Miss Wright, Miss Shevlin and Mrs Carr for their help . ’regoingonabearhunt
