This week our year 5’s have been learning how to use a Flint & Steel. They soon realised that it’s not as easy as it looks. They showed patience and resilience and all achieved to set their cotton pad on fire.

It’s been a wet and windy morning, but it hasn’t stopped our little ones having fun in the rain. We have been learning all about the Life Cycle of a Butterfly. We shared the book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar“, written by Eric Carle and had fun making caterpillars out of sticks. The children also had time to collect rainwater in cups and splash in the puddles.
