Today is National Thank a Teacher Day!
As Headteacher, I would like to take a moment to recognise and thank our great team of teachers for their unwavering dedication and hard work.
Every day, they go above and beyond to provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for your children. Their commitment to supporting each pupil, both academically and personally, makes a lasting difference and helps our school community to thrive.
We are truly fortunate to have such passionate and caring professionals working with our children. I know you will join me in showing appreciation for all they do.
Thank you to all our staff for their continued commitment and excellence.

Surprise!
On Saturday morning Mrs Blackledge went to Haigh Hall Parkrun with her friends. In the trees she found this book.
On the front was a little label that said please take this book as a gift from Haigh.
The Reception children unwrapped the book and plan to read it all together.
What a lovely treat! Thank you Haigh Woodland Park π³

What a beautiful day we had at Liverpool Cathedral with our Year 6 leavers! ποΈ This special service marked such an important milestoneβcelebrating the incredible journey through Primary School and looking ahead to the exciting adventure of high school. π There was something truly magical about gathering together in that magnificent space, reflecting on memories made and the wonderful growth we've witnessed. As our leavers take this next step, we're so proud of each and every one of them. Here's to new chapters, fresh beginnings, and all the amazing things ahead! β¨

We couldn't be prouder of our Year 5 School Council Representatives who were invited to contribute to a memorial ceremony on Anne Frank's birthday. They gave messages of hope and donated 6 purple pots full of flowers to brighten up the garden at Stubshaw Cross Park. Thank you to Jean for inviting us to this special occasion, attended by local councillors, the Mayor of Wigan and the head of Wigan Council.
