Year 4 were sorting through lost property when they found a “lost thing” -a crab/octopus/elephant creature. We managed to find where all the other lost property belonged/who owned them but we were stuck with finding the owner/where the “lost thing” belonged.

We read the book “The Lost Thing” by Shaun Tan which explored the theme of “belonging”. We even had a go at drawing “the lost thing” following his tutorial. We are looking forward to our writing lessons based on this book! 📖 ✍️📝

Year 2 had an amazing time sleeping at school on Friday night, we played games, had a disco, watched a movie, ate treats, stayed up REALLY late and woke up REALLY early, had breakfast and played a wild game of hide & seek with the teachers! What fun!
