Nursery trip to the farm ☀️🌾🐷🚜🐮🦆

The children, parents & staff had the most beautiful day in the sun at the farm on Friday.. We had so much fun meeting, petting & feeding lots of animals (we even got to take a peek at the new calf born only 2 days before our visit too); we also enjoyed exploring the outdoors with plenty of time to play (and bounce) with our friends and we enjoyed a picnic lunch finished off with yummy ice creams too🍦

A fabulous way to end the term together.. Wishing our children & families a wonderful break; we will see you all back at Nursery after the half-term holidays 😎🩵

Etta the Tortoise 🐢

The children loved meeting Etta, caring for her and ensuring she had a comfy home, yummy food and plenty of exercise outdoors 🍅🥬 A big thank you to Sarah for bringing Etta to meet the children.. We hope she had a super fun trip to our nursery 💛

Now who doesn’t love a spot of gardening in the sunshine!? 🪏☀️ The children enjoyed learning about how we can care for living things in our environment and how taking care of them helps them to grow too.. We enjoyed digging, planting and watering whilst transferring compost to planting pots.. We cannot wait to see how our plants & flowers grow over the Summer months 🌱

💚LEAP is looking for an exceptional Preschool Manager to lead our Preschool Nursery in Ashton-under-Lyne.

💚This term-time position offers the opportunity to manage and support a small team of four staff while working directly with children as a keyworker. Alongside time in the room, you will have dedicated time to focus on quality, staff development, and ensuring we continue to provide a safe, inclusive and caring setting where every child can thrive.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY ✨🎩🍀
The children had a very colourful day exploring rainbows in different ways & creating our own 🌈 They engaged in an experiment with how colour & water can be used to create a rainbow.. Again exploring cause & effect; this was an amazing investigation to watch take place in real time! We also enjoyed mark making with painted handprints to create rainbows with pots of gold and seeking out lucky gold coins in the activities too 🫟🌕
