Fabulous piece of writing from a year 3 student. Writing is one of the most difficult skills to learn; it takes a long time and lot of effort to create a good piece of writing.

The joy of writing! One of the lessons I enjoy the most is writing. Once SATs have finished, the year 6s can really have the freedom of creativity and they do come up with some amazing pieces of writing. To add humour to your writing is a big challenge; this student has achieved it!

Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mums, who work tirelessly for their children all year round. The kids have created some amazing newspaper reports this week outlining why their mum deserves the award for the 'Best Mum'. In words of one of my students ' When I am not with her, I feel like I am lost in a maze that never ends'.
