Trained Academy: Educating Fitness Professionals

10/07/2026

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the live recording of the Think Deepa Podcast 🎙️✨
At Trained Academy, we believe that learning doesn’t stop in the classroom. It’s about staying curious, listening to different perspectives and continuing to grow—and this was a brilliant reminder of exactly that.
A huge thank you to the Think Deepa team for inviting us and for creating a space where honest, thought-provoking conversations can happen. We left feeling inspired and with plenty to reflect on.
If you get the chance, head over to YouTube and give the episode a watch when it goes live. We think you’ll take something valuable away from it too. 💙👏

"Dynamic [fitness] reformer isn't Pilates - it's a completely different product, even if the machine is the same. It's like swimming and lifting weights. They're completely different."

A packed audience for Navigating the Reformer Revolution: Capitalising on Demand Whilst Managing Risk, hosted by Sue Wilkie on behalf of EMD UK.

As demand for reformer Pilates continues to grow, the panel explored the opportunities and challenges facing operators, from instructor standards and participant safety to programming, investment and long-term sustainability.

A valuable discussion on how the sector can embrace the reformer boom while ensuring quality, consistency and positive experiences for everyone involved.

These are the days we love ❤️.
The practical weekends are done ✔️.
The learning transfer’s into practice.
The smiles make it all worthwhile.

This was (nearly all) our last cohort of Level 3 Pilates Matwork students, not via zoom, not online platforms.
Hands-on application and correction. We just don’t think you can beat it. 🙌

They all passed and smashed it!

Would you like to be part of our next cohort, for expert tuition. Get in touch.
