NHS 111 Mental Health is available to call for anyone who needs urgent mental health support.
Simply call 111 for free and choose option 2 for mental health when asked, it’s available 24/7.
111 replaces our 0800 helpline, which closes next week at 8am on Monday (3 November 2025). There will still be an answer message with the new details.
Having just one helpline means we can focus on improving the service, to support more people feeling mental unsafe or severely distressed.
We run NHS 111 Mental Health locally with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and voluntary, community and social enterprise colleagues, so you’ll be supported by a practitioner local to you.
You can also access the service online.
